I was good friends with Barbara. We met in Home Ec and would run into each other at the beach on the weekends often and share laughs. She happened to be in the doctor's waiting room when I came out to tell my Mom I was pregnant with my first baby. We became fast friends once again and stayed in touch until she passed away. She was such a good person and it was so sad to lose her.
